Sentinelle
Sentinel is the personification of the devastation that everyday life can cause when it becomes too heavy to bear, which encloses us in a protective shell so that nothing reaches us, but this shell can be very negative and prevent us from opening up.
It traps us in a period of life, by overprotecting our inner self, by being our own sentinel.
I covered a mannequin with broken plates that represent everyday life and encased them in concrete that represents being stuck in life and added tattoos that speak to her feelings.

This work is called old, I wanted to highlight the beauty of old age, the marks of time represent a whole life story. I find it so unfortunate that in our society driven by the syndrome of youthism, old age is no longer seen except through the prism of disability.
I drew 60 portraits, digital paintings printed on sand, plaster or paint.
